As a former financial advisor and small business owner for decades, I learned that self-imposed pressure to retire happens mostly through the programming and brainwashing of a legacy culture and the Mad Men on Wall Street and Madison Ave.
Retirement is dead. It's been usurped by a novel concept called living life fires up about your purpose, find work that you love, spend within your means instead of keeping up the Joneses, and live the life of your dreams now.
Living life with purpose a d loving work is tireless, and therefore, older dudes like I never feel old even at 60, 70, 80, or 90.
That part of us never dies, and most of us never find it within.
