Did we not teach these men the art of courtship, and writing love notes? My humble opinion is that if one immerses oneself in self-gratification, self-service, self-seeking, and self-loathing, one is fucked. One who knows only to pleasure oneself will find little joy in the art of giving pleasure to any other. For example, I fell in love with my wife of 39 years as a boy attending college. It took me three years to get a date, and then, countless random acts of kindness suchnas love notes, flowers, and different dates to manifest a courtship that would attract the love I sought. Yes, I was seeking for myself the love of my life. And in order to receive such, I had to give of myself. Once married, I had to surrender my self-seeking ways on the path to the utter bliss of living in unity.

In short, as I have taught two sons over the last 35 years, until we surrender our selfish ways including jerking off, we will be lonely wretches wondering why we are lonely, anxious depressed, addicted, and stuck in the endless suck of being selfish fucks.
