Do Humans Have Three Minds?

An overview of the conscious, subconscious, and superconscious minds.

The concept of relating the conscious, subconscious, and superconscious mind has yet to be scientifically recognized. It’s a popularized idea that some people have adopted to describe different aspects of the human mind and how the three minds relate to one another.

However, most experts agree that we are conscious beings with vast communication and learning capabilities, a neuroplastic brain, and the highest cognitive ability of all animals.

We think, dream, invent, create, write, speak, read, and learn new skills transforming our conscious incompetence to the highest levels of unconscious mastery.

Ultimately, the human mind is an incredible gift few of us use to our full potential. There are three primary distinctions commonly referenced. Here’s a quick overview of the three aspects of the mind.

  1. The conscious mind is often described as the part of the mind that is aware of and able to perceive and think about the present moment.
