Why Millions of Sellers Will Cut the Cord with Amazon.com

I just finished cutting the consumer cord to everything Amazon.com does and sells. This included Audible.com, which I loved and hate to lose.

The good news is I saved a fortune so far, and I’m sleeping better at night with a clearer conscious knowing I’m not giving my money to these guys. Yes, it’s been inconvenient, but that’s okay. I have fired up my eBay activity big time and renewed my library card for the first time in 20 years. I’ve done all I can do except create more awareness about the risks of being an Amazon Seller.

My prediction is more Sellers will follow. I hope it’s millions of us because there has to be a better way to sell online without selling our souls.

Why would I cut this cord while most of us are cutting the cable cord? How will I live without Amazon considering how convenient it is to give them my money. You might think I’m nuts, but I’ve got an excellent case to make.

Amazon and Prime are like water to millions of us, or so it seems. Heck, if you love to write and learn as much as I do, you probably buy a small mountain of books and ebooks. Then there is all the other stuff that is too easy to buy before we consider the…
