There is also this issue: It seems that too many people are too accustomed to getting stuff for free or stealing it, including great content. It seems even some of the best people, creatives, have a tough time monetizing their content, me included. For example, my recent 1099 from Medium. Holy cow. Good thing I use my content to get big-ticket clients.
It also seems that once great, big, and profitable mainstream media, with some of the top creative people in the world, now sit behind a poorly-monetized paywall.
Because of that, a logical conclusion seems to be that the Ad Goons must then unleash their ad and sponsor fury, and even more of us lose our patience for the seeming mayhem.
But what seems so to me may not be so. So, there is that.
