Great article. One of the biggest reasons is the massive shift in consciousness taking place. It's powered by a vast disconnect at the esoteric, dogmatic, fundamentalist ways of thinking and being in the past.

In other words, as humans become more awake, more of us want churches to operate at the Esoteric level of consciousness because what has happened at the esoteric level is unsustainable.
