Great story! Same as mine, but I'm the father. I walked away from a 10-year career in retirement planning in the midst of my mid-life crisis that began when I was 40. Then, I crashed emotionally, spirituality, financially, and lost my health.

But I followed my curiosity. I hope you follow yours as it seems you've been doing so. Keep being present while asking, "What's your will for me, God?"

God showed me where to go, how to be, and what to do for work.

And here I am at 63, sons raised, married 40 years, wondering, "God, what's next for me? You always know. Please show me the way!"

However, NOTHING can ever compare to the joy of raising healthy, happy children!

I never met my EXPECTATIONS for myself as an an executive, and for the last 30 years, as small business owner.

But I far exceeded what I hoped for in my family life.

Pray, hope, trust vs. Expecting anything.
