The Four Agreements are principles for personal growth and transformation, as described in the book “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz.
To improve the opportunity for success, joy, and abundance of what you seek, including good health, follow four simple but not easy agreements.
- Be impeccable with your word. This agreement emphasizes the importance of using your words to align with truth and integrity. Speak honestly and clearly, and avoid using your words to spread negativity or make false assumptions.
- Don’t take anything personally. This agreement encourages individuals to avoid taking things too personally, recognizing that others’ actions and words often reflect their experiences and perspectives. Individuals can avoid unnecessary emotional pain and turmoil by not taking things personally.
- Don’t make assumptions. This agreement reminds us that we can never honestly know what another person thinks or feels. Therefore, we should avoid making assumptions about their intentions or motivations.
