I can relate very well to your story. For decades, I hid from churches due to my lack of alignment with that faith.

However, despite a long spiritual journey and a Higher Power I've grown to love, I've been called to attend Greek Orthodox services at a local church.

Even though I used to believe I needed to be Greek to join, they welcomed me with open arms, and the theology is profound, unlike that of the other church.

The Eastern Orthodox Church is the ORIGINAL Catholic Church. The Pope dude in Rome usurped power leading up to the Great Schism.

Several hundred years later, the Protestant Reformation kicked into high gear. They also had a massive aversion to a papacy gone wild.

Now, we have a Christian Family tree that's out of control with too many abominations to think about.
