I dug each hole by hand with a fencepost digger and shovel. I'm not a geologist, so I can't tell you what the soil composition was like. But what I can tell you is it was the hardest digging I've done beyond digging out the fear, anger, and harsh judgment that used to hold me back from unconditional love.
