If I wrote for money more than love, writing would suck. Then, I'd quit.
You make a great point about the noise around making money.
My humble conclusion has been to accept that many of the people who write about making money are still seeking self validation, among other things. They are often very young.
Over 30 years ago, I worked for money and had a "good job" doing the "responsible thing" for my young family.
But that sucked. So I quit, and started working for love.
The money followed in waves; crests and troughs.
The ebb and flow was beyond my control.
And I've loved my work since.
Now you know why I write about the art of human transformation, not making money.
Keep up the great work.
