Not Sure What You Want?
Try These Six Simple Steps
Imagine being at a networking event in the real world. You’re face-to-face pressing the flesh with real people who seek connection like you.
You meet someone new. They’re impressive.
It’s as if they have a certain clarity and confidence about who they are and what they want.
After chatting for a bit, you ask, “By the way, what’s next for you?”
“Oh, that’s easy. Have you ever met a business owner who needed help getting funding for their company? That’s what I do; commercial business lending.”
Before you can say anything, your new connection asks, “What’s next for you?”
You don’t know what to say except, “Oh, me? I’m working on that. I’m not sure.”
Lack of Clarity
When you lack clarity, you’re not sure where you’re going.
Your goals aren’t clear. You second guess yourself often. You don’t feel great about yourself.
As a result, you lack confidence.
It shows. You may think something is wrong with you.
Shame becomes your shadow.
