George Orwell said, “Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand.”

George Orwell, whose real name was Eric Arthur Blair, was a British writer known for his incisive prose and critical analysis of social and political issues. His notable works include Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949), widely regarded as essential critiques of political oppression and dystopian futures.

The focus of this article is to encourage anyone wanting to write a book to do so. The best way to write your first book is to start writing.

The primary motivation for writing is the same as all forms of art. It’s passion, primarily.

Pursue your passion! It’s a great way to live.

But even if you don’t write a book, writing has many benefits.
