I was thinking about how I save my ass every year from the Dog House if I’m in it the first two weeks of Valentine’s Day; a love note, poem, sketch, or painting that’s original, and a flower or blooming plant I find in nature.

Why not just buy a card and flowers like everyone else at the grocery store online at the last minute?

Let me speak for myself:

1. I can procrastinate.
2. I can be cheap.
3. I think Valentine’s Day is a Hallmark scam.
4. And I’m the only one like me, so that’s original.
