The context of this article is political ideology. Whether it’s political differences, extreme religious divides, family fighting, community conflict, sports titans clashing, or the coworker from hell, our fundamental problem remains the same; we fail too often to get along.

What if we learned to agree to disagree, have crucial conversations that don’t result in conflict or resentment, and focus on finding similarities between us more than differences?

The fastest way to get along with anyone with a different point of view, belief, or opinion is to meet them where they are, and seek to listen, learn, and understand.

The Path to World Peace Begins Within

The world would be a better place starting with each one of us. Despite the apparent fact that too many of us ignore our moral obligation to be wiser, I believe in goodness and look for the best in everyone.

By the end of this article, I hope you see the power of acceptance, especially when you disagree with a friend or loved one.
