Wow, what a tragic story. Let me assure of one thing; money is animate. It, by itself, can do nothing. We assign it value based on how we perceive money. Clearly, her self view was so low, so broken, that her mindset, her thinking based on her conditioning and inability to work through her trauma, that she, not the money, lost her mind even more.
