You Can’t Teach A Business Owner In A Seminar How to Grow A Company
Or On One Phone Call, Two Emails, and A Prayer
I took an inbound call the other day. It was a young woman calling from Utah. She found my website when she searched online for a strategic business advisor in Arizona.
We had a brief conversation. When I hung up, I said to myself, “God, I hope she finds her way. I wish I could help her more, but I did the best I could.”

Since 2003, I’ve helped hundreds of people “get clarity” and better business results. I’ve taken hundreds of phone calls, delivered many workshops, and presentations, and I can never do enough to help the many I’m in initial contact with. Good thing I learned acceptance.
A Typical Phone Call
Last week, one of my calls went like this.
“Hello, this is Cliff. How may I help you?” (Yes, I say this.)
“Oh, hey, uh, is this you?”
“Yes, I’m Cliff Jones.”
“Wow. You’re the only one who answered your phone. Thanks.”
